My practice focuses exclusively on Immigration and Criminal Law. I offer a wide range of Immigration and Criminal Defence services. As a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School with a Master's Degree in Canadian Common Law, I completed the Law Practice Program at Ryerson University. I worked as a law student with John Abrams Law Office, gaining valuable experience in various criminal and immigration matters.
Immigration and Criminal Law go hand and hand, as criminal charges can render Permanent and Temporary Residents inadmissible to Canada and expose them to deportation. My experience extends to complicated matters, and as a former uniformed Police Officer with Hamilton Police Service, I also have experience being on the other side of the law. This experience makes me very familiar with the techniques and strategies of the police service, allowing me to analyze criminal matters from the investigative side and better equip me to defend my clients against criminal charges. As a multilingual lawyer, I provide legal services in Ontario in English, Punjabi, Hindi, Bengali and Urdu.
I aim to alleviate clients, concerns by providing step-by-step guidance and information on timelines at all stages of their immigration or criminal cases. I believe it is essential to familiarize people with how the justice system works and ensure they are comfortable throughout the process, including keeping legal jargon to a minimum.
